Radha Regent Hotel is a Sarovar Hotel in Chennai, India. Sarovar group has over 85 hotels in the country.
THE GOAL
Radha Regent Hotel, Chennai is a 20 year old property in the heart of the city. Their marketing methods being conservative in the digital age, they noticed a huge dip in foot fall and turnaround year on year. They also housed the first ever pub of Chennai, Geoffreys which had seen glorious days since the 90s which was now at a point where turnaround was so bad that the management knew they needed fresh minds to bridge that gap.
THE APPROACH
We were brought in as a last minute attempt to try to revive the condition of the hotel ( rooms, restaurants & pubs) via digital means.
We started off by creating a brand presence for a 20 year old hotel from scratch. We redid all their physical menus, standees and other offline marketing materials. We started an active social media presence where we would reach out to old customers and bring in new customer leads via carefully curated campaigns. We also programmed the venue Geoffrey's, bringing life to a brilliant space.
THE RESULT
The hotel rooms and banquets sold faster than previous records. For the next 2 years Geoffrey's was billing more than any other outlet in the hotel. Geoffreys rebranding brought it back to space going neck to neck with new night life spaces being launched across the city.
